Description
The LIGHTSIDE™ is a reduced-friction, gentle lap
designed to be a durable, predictable replacement for wax laps. Better heat conductivity than wax, and more dimensionally stable.
Like all our coated and laminated laps since 2003, these laps are made on MIC6 precision ground cast and strain relieved tooling plate.
Successfully used on soft materials such as diopside, fluorite, apatite, rhodocrosite, zinc sulfides and oxides, Cuprite and other stones ~5 and below in Hardness.
Use with the usual oxide BATTStik or your favorite slurry or diamond compounds.
